Luke Huxham – Director
————————————————

Born in New Zealand where Luke lived for the first half of his life then moved to Australia where his passion for cars started to grow. While in Australia he started his 8 year long career in the computer website and media design industry. Luke helped contribute to the drifting community by setting up drifting events for his local community and trying to spread the word of drift around Australia.

Shortly after getting involved with a local car import company they invited three D1GP professional drivers from Japan to run the first ever drift schools for all the locals within the sport. This was Lukes first tastes of Japanese culture, after meeting with the drivers and becoming close friends Luke then got invited back to Japan to embark on a 1 month drifting holiday.

Moved to Japan in 2008 to learn more about their culture, drifting and to start one of the biggest projects of his life. Luke now lives with his wife in Japan, is part of a local Japanese drift team (Team Geki) and has started his own car business exporting car parts worldwide. Luke wants to pursue his life long dream of working within the automotive media industry, becoming successful and continuing this project on to a life long career.

Luke currently owns a JZX90 Drift car and his hobbies include, cars, skateboarding, snowboarding, filming and spending time with his friends.

Thomas Moore – US Marketing

Thomas “Slappy” Moore, founder of Team Slide Asylum. Has been interested in MotorSports since he was young. Followed Formula One ever since it was aired on American TV and still does to this day.  Enjoys watching Le Mans, DTM, WRC Classic Can-Am, & just about any Touring or Cup series race.

Thomas has always wanted to be involved in some sort of MotorSport but thought he couldn’t afford it, or be lucky enough to have been put into Karting like M. Schumacher at a very young age. He was lucky enough to discover Drifting and be pretty good at it straight away.

He digs music, as long as its loud, evil and heavy and has also been  in and out of bands as a teen. Played a few parties, bars, and recorded a few songs at KenMar recording studio in MD.

Now onto friends & family. Thomas says he couldn’t of made it this far without them and would like to say thanks to all his home town friends and car buddies for all there help along with his Mom and Pops for their support.
